After hearing Instructor Fienna''s exnation about academy points and the ss system for sophomores, juniors, and seniors, the weaker students were slightly rmed.
They knew they weren''t as strong as their captain, Shye, or even the other top twenty students so they had to act fast.
From the looks of it, they had toplete multiple quests in a day before they would be able to attend a premium ss the next day.
In addition to this, deep in their hearts, they knew that they would not be able to attend all of the premium sses so they should just attend what they could and ept that it was inevitable for each student to have gaps.
Unfortunately, every time a student attends a premium ss, there is a waiver one has to sign, and if one tells another person about what he/she learned in the premium ss, the deans and instructors would know through the waiver and thewbreaker would be kicked out of the academy.
A bit harsh but they had to keep the environmentpetitive.
If they give out free premium sses here and there, the students would lose their edge and they wouldn''t grow to their peak potential.
After all, sses were simply knowledge and although important, an adventurer''s strength and actual experience is what would make him a true adventurer in the end.
Once Instructor Fienna dismissed the ss, everyone except Shye, Anthony, and Shirley, sprinted out of the ssroom.
Some of them went towards the quest hall while some immediately rushed towards the buildings of other courses to look for potential party members.
Fortunately, they were given a week to farm as many points as they could because starting next week, the premium sses will begin.
However, those in the top twenty didn''t have the same problems as the ordinary students.
For example, although Anthony and Shirley rank pretty low on the top twenty rankings, killing apex predators in the beginner adventurer zone is already like child''s y to them and their next goal is to apply for an intermediate adventurer badge so that they could enter the intermediate adventurer zone.
This means that they can independently umte academy points if they choose to do so.
Additionally, should they decide to take on more challenging quests, they can simply form a party with other top twenty students from other courses and their gains would still be significantly biggerpared to the ordinary students even if the rewards would be divided amongst all of them.
Of course, there are always exceptions like Shye, Siegfried, and the other top-ranked sophomore students who couldplete difficult quests inside the intermediate adventurer zone alone which means they wouldn''t have to worry about academy points at all.
"Shirley, do you want to party up with me?"
Shye looked at Shirley and asked
After hearing what Shye said, Shirley''s eyes sparkled.
This was the first time Shye asked her to go adventuring with him and although she was his girlfriend, she didn''t dare ask him to go adventuring with her due to a few reasons.
First, she knows that they have a huge gap in capabilities. Shye could solo hunt in the middle parts of the intermediate adventurer zone while she didn''t even have an intermediate adventurer badge.
Second, she didn''t want to be a burden and slow his progress down because he was the most talented student in the history of Colzen Academy and the deans have entrusted the future of the academy to him.
Third andst reason, she wanted to try and catch up to him through her own abilities but unfortunately, it seemed that it was impossible so she was secretly worried about their romantic rtionship.
Shirley knew that she wasn''t as talented as Shye and she would eventually get left behind if things continued like this.
However, she decided to stick around and see what would happen. If therees a day they couldn''t be together anymore, so be it.
For now, she was happy that she got to go adventuring with Shye.
The two of them left the ssroom and headed towards the Permissions Pavilion to apply for Shirley''s intermediate adventurer badge.
Since they were now sophomores, Shirley easily got her intermediate adventurer badge after a few verifications, unlike Shye who had to go through a hard quest just to get one.
Once Shirley got her badge, the two of them went to the quest hall to get some quests and farm academy points.
The reason why Shye invited Shirley was because he knew that she was about to enter the intermediate adventurer zone and he wanted to help her adapt to the environment first before letting her train alone.
Looking back, during the past six months, Shye realized that he hadn''t been a good romantic partner to Shirley at all.
He mostly acts on his own while neglecting her because he wants to improve as fast as possible.
Although he knew that there was nothing wrong with what he was doing, he didn''t want to simply leave Shirley behind.
Shye wanted to do something for her which would give her the capital to at least keep up with him and hopefully, in the future, they could go adventuring together as professional adventurers.
If that is impossible, then at least he wanted the two of them to be in the same guild.
Shirley had been very understanding during the past six months so he realized that although they had a huge gap in abilities right now, there would be a time in the future when he had to settle down somewhere and Shirley seemed like a potentially good wife who he could settle down with.
However, if the gap between the two of them bes too big, then they would have to stay in different cities and their rtionship might eventually fall apart so Shye decided to asionally help her.
Shirley is talented, however, it''s just that, her talent pales inparison to Shye but with a little help from him, Shye believed that she would be able to keep up.
In terms of beauty, She was on par with the top beauty, Allyson ire and her facial features were definitely good enough to be an advertisement model.
In addition to this, she had a smoking hot body so there wasn''t really anything wrong with taking her as his wife.
This is the reason why Shye resolved himself to help her keep up with him.
