<h4>Chapter 25: A Swift Conclusion</h4>
The crowd went wild after Leonardo''s ss was announced as the winner. He sent the other ss'' captain flying which was very exciting in the eyes of the audience.
As he was walking down the stage, Leonardo Regulus stared at Shye and smirked. Although he saw how his ssmate Cleo was defeated by Shye, he wasn''t threatened at all.
He was hiding his strength anyway and that''s why he only imed the 11th spot in the entrance examination.
In his mind, he was sure that he could defeat Shye.
"Hahahahaha! Did you see that? You better pray that your ss doesn''t run into my ss early or you will suffer the same fate!"
Instructor Brodley looked at Instructor Fienna''s direction and taunted.
"Hmmph! With just that? Crowley will just p you guys back down to the ground again!"
Instructor Fienna retorted. She was confident that Shye would not let her down against such low-ranked opponents.
Shye didn''t shrink back as he stared back at Leonardo.
"Oh?! Look at those two! I think they have bad blood between them!"
The crowd, the students from other courses, and the fourth-year students didn''t miss this small interaction between the two captains.
After a few seconds of reading between the lines, they realized that these two sses were mortal enemies.
Because of this interaction, the crowd waited for Shye''s match in anticipation. They already saw Leonardo''s strength so they also wanted to see how strong the other guy was.
The next three matches involved the top 1, top 2, and top 3 students and as expected, they easily won their matches.
The crowd was in awe while the fourth-year students went silent and their expressions turned serious after witnessing the prowess of the top three students of this year''s warrior freshmen.
"This year''s freshmen surpasses even our generation when ites to potential...I would love to see them fight in the inter-academy tournament four years from now..."
"We must try to recruit them to our society at all costs!"
The fourth-year students thought to themselves.
Shye''s expression also turned serious upon seeing the top three students''bat prowess. He thought that he would be able to easily defeat everyone this time due to his shocking growth.
Turns out that he was still too naive, the top three students were on another levelpared to the likes of Cleo.
Still, he believes that he stands a chance against them. Although he knew that this wasn''t the full power of the top three, he himself had his own trump cards.
"Crowley''s ss, Valesworth''s ss, pleasee up on stage.
After a few more idle minutes, their ss was finally called on stage.
The crowd was excited, however, a few also voiced their doubts because the captain, Shye, is only 16th-rank.
"So much for that 11th-rank guy''s rival turns out, he was only ranked 16th!"
Some of them believed that Peter Valesworth''s ss would win easily.
However, those who were from the warrior course knew that Shye Crowley was probably the most mysterious one among the top 20 students.
No one exactly knows how strong he is but everyone knows that he was definitely way above 14th-rank due to how he defeated Cleo so easily five months ago.
The two sses stood across from each other and the captains, Shye and Peter stood in front of their ss waiting for the start of the match.
"Begin!"
After the referee announced the start of the match, the ordinary students immediately charged at each other.
Anthony and Shirley teamed up to fight the 10th-ranked student, Jason Grayfield, while Shye took on Peter Valesworth alone.
Another one-on-one between captains!
The crowd cheered wildly and the fourth-year students were impressed upon seeing Shye''s gutsy decision.
Everyone thought that Shye would decide to fight together with the other rankers from his ss but it turns out that he was confident enough to take on the 8th-ranked Peter Valesworth alone!
Instructor Brodley scoffed while Instructor Fienna smiled. She knew that Shye was capable of holding his own even against Peter.
A few minutes into the skirmish, the weaker students started to get eliminated.
Anthony and Shirley were holding their own against the 10th-ranked Jason but they couldn''t get any advantage either.
*BANG!*
What they didn''t expect was, in just a single sh, the battle against the captains already ended.
Everyone who was fighting on the stage stopped and turned their heads to see what happened.
The crowd gasped followed by a sound of disappointment. After being hyped up so much, the fight ended just like that?
The fourth-year students from the top-tier societies shook their heads in disappointment. They wanted to at least see the guy named Shye Crowley hold his own for a while before being defeated.
If he did, then they would consider inviting them to their societies.
After a while, the smoke finally dissipated and the two captains were revealed.
Everyone''s pupils constricted upon seeing the unbelievable scene on the stage. Shye Crowley was unharmed while Peter was lying on the ground, unconscious.

The match was decided with a single hit from Shye. After processing what happened, the crowd cheered wildly. They were ecstatic after seeing such exciting and unexpected developments.
Some of the students from other courses immediately decided to try and form a party with Shye in the future.
As for the fourth-year students, they were speechless.
The lower-ranked societies already made up their minds to invite Shye while the fourth-year students from the top-tier societies were forced to reconsider their decisions.
"This guy was definitely hiding his true strength!"
The fourth-year students thought to themselves. They estimated that Shye was at least on the level of the top 5 students just from the raw strength he disyed earlier.
The top 1 student looked at the stage with excitement and a wide smile on his face.
"Shye Crowley...How exciting!"
It seems that thepetition for the top spots in the warrior course is going to be lively.
