Walter seemed to be somewhat surprised.
Novalee was tugging his sleeve not long before as if she was very worried. He couldn''t believe that
she had spoken on his behalf.

Novalee ordered a bottle of wine as requested by Walter. However, she saw a familiar figure when

embarrass her. People might respect her and treat her kindly only when they thought that she was
his girlfriend.
