When Nicole saw Allie fail to open Cayden''s door, a feeling of disappointment swelled within her.
She hid the mockery in her eyes and tried to sound understanding by saying, “Mdm. Allie, it seems that
Cayden''s quite the wary person. He really doesn''t like strangers entering his space, huh? Well, since I
haven''t established a rtionship with him yet, let''s just stay out of his room. Otherwise, I''m sure he''ll

and I have so many clothes that we can''t finish wearing them.”
As for Rory, she was not as civil as her brother. “Ms. Lambert, my mommy already bought me a dress
of a simr stylest month, and I think I prefer the one my mommy bought for me.”
The gentle smile on Nicole''s face stiffened ever so lightly when she heard that. “That''s okay. What kind
of style do you like, Rory? You can tell me in advance so that I can buy them for you.”
She had thought that the two innocent-looking kids would be easy to handle, but s, she didn''t expect
that they would act so hostile toward her.
