Upon listening to the doctor''s report, Cayden, who was seated on the couch, wore a cold expression.

was a woman who had a gray scarf thatpletely concealed her face. Her identity was indiscernible,
but it seemed clear that she had a slightly rotund body figure. She was dressed in a brown windbreaker
and was seen holding a can of cat food in her hand while coaxing a white cat toward the direction of a
restroom.
Avery was slightly taken aback when she saw the woman''s figure.
Back then, she had run into Nicole and her assistant in the lobby of Azure Royal.
The clothes worn by Nicole''s assistant looked simr to the one in the screenshot, as did the scarf
around her neck, which was identical to the unknown woman''s.

latter change into them immediately. After that, Nicole brought her assistant to an extravagant
entertainment center like Azure Royal, which took thetter by surprise.
The garments that the assistant currently wore, including the scarf, the windbreaker, and the boots,

something I need help with, would you be willing to assist me?” Nicole embraced her assistant and
gently patted thetter''s heaving shoulders caused by the constant sobbing. No one saw the gleam
that shed past Nicole''s beautiful eyes.
“Ms. Lambert, I''ll never hesitate if there''s anything I can do to help you. Regardless of how arduous the
task may be, I''ll do it no matter the cost!” the assistant swore fervently as she raised her hand to wipe
the tears from the corner of her eyes.
“You''ll have to remember to keep your word then!” Staring at her foolish assistant, Nicole''s smile was
akin to a sly fox''s.
Just as Nicole was speaking to her assistant, two security guards dressed in ck suits knocked on the
door and said, “Apologies for interrupting, Ms. Lambert, but Mr. Cayden has asked to see you.”
Nicole''s heart skipped a beat, but the smile on her face looked as wless as ever.
In a refined and polite manner, she then replied, “He''s looking for me? What''s going on? Could you two
please give me a moment? I need to go to the restroom first. I''ll be there soon.”
“Cayden, are you sure Nicole has something to do with this matter? What is her motive for going
through so much trouble to do all that if she''s targeting me? I don''t understand.” Avery gazed uneasily
at Cayden, who was sitting next to her. A few momentster, she lowered her head and pondered hard.
She found it hard to believe that it was really Nicole. How could someone seemingly so gentle, who''s
been dubbed a “goddess” by her fans, harbor such dark secrets in private? There had never been any
competition between us. Nicole coveting the father of my children is the only reason she''d target me,
