    After stepping out of the court, Avery stared at the world covered in white with bright eyes.


    The sun outside was still warm as ever, but she was no longer feeling gloomy like before.

    Cayden wrapped a hand around her waist. When he noticed her ruminating silence and discovered that


    he could not read her mind, he asked, “What are you thinking about? You seem quite lost in your

    “I''m wondering if Henrietta and Mna will receive a different sentence if they make an appeal,” Avery


    answered with a sigh.


    At that, Cayden arched a brow before narrowing his eyes. “No. If they dare to make an appeal, I''ll make
