After a few seconds of hesitation, he spoke with confusion, "I really can''t understand how I could have
done something like that. Did I really love her that much?"
Adrien kept his gaze fixed on Abel as he asked, "Do you think you love her?"
"I might have loved her at some point," Abel replied. "But eventually, I got tired and just moved on. I
don''t love her anymore."
"What?" Emmeline jumped out of Abel''s embrace.
