    Dearest diary


    Today was a delightful day, but I cannot help but feel like there''s something off about this place. I''ve found signs of native fauna alongside some rather strange prints in the sand that appear to be drag marks. I am assuming that they''ve been left there by seals. So I shall keep an eye out for them, I have never seen a seal before. Hopefully, I will not lose it, it is the only one I have. Heh, Salvatore would''ve loved this joke... I miss him. Although I am sure he doesn''t miss me.
