 “Did you give her the medicine? How’s Jenna?”

 Sophia nced at the lively Jenna, “She’s great, just too great. She won’t go to sleep even now.”

 How sharp was Jenna? She immediately climbed up, reaching for the phone, “I want to talk to him!”

 “Alright.” Sophia handed her the phone with a smile.

 “Sir!”

 Hearing the little one’s voice, Gilbert knew the medicine had taken effect. His brows rxed, and a smile yed at the corners of his mouth.

 “It’ste, Jenna. Why aren’t you sleeping?”

 “Sir, I’m watching the moon! It’s so pretty.”

 Gilbert walked to the window, looking up to see the moon at the start of the month, a thin crescent like a little boat.

 “Jenna should go to sleep now. The moon needs to sleep too.”

 Children these days are tough to fool, “You’re fibbing, sir. The moon is in the sky; how can it sleep?”

 Gilbert massaged his temple, “How about this, I will bring the moon down to keep Jennapany while she sleeps, okay?”

 “Really?” Jenna was skeptical.
