    home. It’s just sitting empty.”


    Mirabe nodded and ascended the stairs.


    Once she was gone, Delh rubbed her chin in thought and turned to her husband. “Shawn, don’t you


    think our current house is getting a bit cramped?”


    Pausing, she continued, “Look, we don’t even have a private space for our daughter. Sure, Nick’s living


    overseas, but knowing our girl, she’ll feel ufortable using his room indefinitely.”


    Shawn set down the remote control and thought it over, finding Delh’s point valid. “How about we


    move to Sunnydale Heights? The neighborhood’s nicer, and the houses are bigger. There’s more room,


    and it’s closer to our daughter’s school. Plus, if she wants to have friends. over, we won’t have to worry


    about not having enough space for them to stay.”

    grabbed her phone and started scrolling for the designer’s number, promptly making a call to set up a


    meeting for the next day.


    Having arranged the appointment, Delh put her phone down and was suddenly struck by a tinge of

    Shawn raised an eyebrow and patted her shoulder. “It’s for our daughter.”
