    us go. Despair finally sank in. When the guards closed in on them, their despair broke them, and


    their pleas became shrieks that filled the air of the room.


    Toby covered Sonia''s ears even tighter, and his face darkened considerably. "Cover their mouths


    and take them away."


    "Yes, sir!" Tom told the guards to do as Toby said.


    The guards quickly covered the girls'' mouths and dragged them off without hesitation, and silence
