    “That’s what I thought.” Shane scoffed. Then, his expression changed drastically as he turned to Sage.


    “Don’t worry. I’ll wait over there. Just call me if you need anything.”


    Sage rolled her eyes at him and ignored him. The man walked away, ncing back every few

    Giselle took a deep breath and said, “So we’ve met again, Ms. Joyner.” Her eyes shone with


    determination as if she hade to terms with something.

    about?”
