Amanda had walked into a private room where she was going to meet the investor and found them
seated waiting for her.
“Sorry I amte,” she said with an apologetic smile on her face before sitting down.
“It is okay. We have also just arrived,” one of them said humbly making Amanda smile genuinely as she
knew what they were trying to do.
“We can discuss it then we eat or should we do business as we eat or eat then discuss?” she asked
them.
“We can first discuss before eating so that if we agree, we can celebrate,” the other said making
Amanda nod her head.
She already had a good impression of them but she knew that she had to observe more and also see
what they were proposing before agreeing to be their partner.
They discussed for more than two hours and then ordered some food.
“Miss, we will tell you something. We have worked with a certain family in the capital and their strength
and finance are at the same level as your family,” one said making Amanda look at her with a frown.
“That’s true. It has been on the rise for fifteen years since it got the new head of family or should I say
someone else took over their family business,” another said when he saw the frown.
“Then why haven’t we had of something as such?” Amanda asked as she doubted them.
She previously had a good impression on them and the business offer they had was good and promisir
but now listening to them, she didn’t know what to believe or do.
“The man had been so mysterious and he didn’t want to invite trouble. Although he can manage the
business and isn’t afraid of trouble or when someone wants to destroy him, he always ims that he
doesn’t have supporters or someone shouldering his problems as it is with the Andersons. You guys
are so ha and when you want to destroy, you join forces to destroypletely but him, he is just alone.
Thus, instead of inviting trouble or having a lot of enemies because of his sess, he opts to ride

“You guys thought that if you came to me instead of going to either my eldest brother or my sister, I
would definitely approve of this coboration and also, I would inform my family about what you have
told me leading to us starting a fight that family,” Amanda said calmly making them feel ashamed that

“Your families covet the position that my family and that family have. You have tried getting those
positions but you can’t. Because of this, you opted toe to me, the inexperienced Anderson’s

She knew that she couldn’t stay in there with those people as she was afraid that they might do

She found a waitress and with her help, she booked a room in the suite as she couldn’t go back to that

She walked out of the elevator but she was starting to feel hot and she couldn’t see clearly.
She walked into the first room she saw. After walking inside, she sat on the bed and tried to control
herself. To her, she was lucky that she had escaped and that nobody was present to see her miserable
state.
“What are you doing?” a voice asked making Amanda flinch.
She giggled before standing up and jumped onto the man and started kissing him.
“Woman. Who sent you here?” The man asked her as he pushed him away from him and it brought Ar
back to her senses but not everything was clear.
“Please help me. I have been drugged. I can pay you, she said in a desperate tone before jumping onto
the man once more.
“Do you think you can afford me?” he asked her as he tried once more to push her but she clinged on
him and became so aggressive.
“There is no one in this country that I can’t afford to pay. Please me and I will give you everything you
want,” Amanda said and she was even surprised by herself but she knew that the drugs had contro
over her.
