    some unpleasant memories.” He gazed into the distant darkness.


    Olivia couldn’t understand why someone so gentle and bright would have a somber side. She quietly


    looked up at him.


    ude felt her eyes on him and met her gaze with gentleness. “Why are you staring at me?”


    Olivia shook her head. “Nothing. I just think you’re a wonderful person.”
