I slept obediently until the morning.


    The next morning was like every other morning-the same blue sky, the same white clouds, and even the chirping of birds outside the window seemed to be the same.


    At the same time, it was different from the other mornings.


    The reason was because of the good news that I received. It almost made me faint in my excitement.


    At seven in the morning, I was about to leave for college with Colin after having breakfast, and Queenie and Andrew were washing dishes in the kitchen. That was when the professor called me.     I felt like banging my head against a wall.

    "Professor, your devoted student has just woken up. Is it urgent? Can''t you wait for me for a while?" I desperately tried to stall for time.


    "No, I can''t wait. You have toe right now. Immediately. I''ll give you 20 minutes." He hung up decisively right after that.


    Tears of frustration welled up in my eyes as I dashed downstairs. I could hear Colin''sughter behind me.


    Why did I end up with such a mentor? Why was this happening?


    17 minutester, I arrived at the professor''s office.


    He was sitting energetically at his desk when I opened the office door. How could he smile when he had just spent half of the previous night in a meeting?
