ago, but you only arrived in Farlem a week ago. Someone must have conspired with you, instigating

Nathaniel hung his head, looking at the ground, merely smiling without uttering a word.

Despite the pain, Nathanielughed again with a slightly pained expression. “Since you

just now?”
Elijah shook his head. “No, he refused to speak.”
“I’d like to have a private chat with him.”
“Sure.”
“A private one, so your people aren’t allowed to eavesdrop, including you,” Sheena emphasized.
He hesitated for a moment, sounding disappointed as he replied, “Fine.”
After Sheena entered, Elijah closed the door behind her, sending Lionel and the others away. He took a
position under a nearby tree, waiting.
Inside the small cabin, Nathaniel, upon seeing Sheena, smirked.
“Nana, I really didn’t expect tonight to turn into a feast of betrayal. Were you acting all this time? Did
