Maurice’s expression turried sour.
Being talked down to like this was clearly infuriating for him, and he retorted, “And who do you think
you are? I’m in charge at the police station, and you have no say. Take her away!” Maurice waved his
hand, signaling all the police in the room to swarm in and take Sheena away immediately.
Elijah was furious. Before he could speak, a devilishly charming male voice echoed from outside the
