    Chapter 2140

    Chapter 2140 Crazy Fan Behavior

The afternoon seemed to fly past, and in the blink of an eye, work had already ended. Even so, Cindy

was not in a hurry to leave.

She took out a paper and pencil before selecting a random folder among the themed ones that Serena

had handed her not too long ago so she could attempt another sketch.

Her peers were already filing out the door, and Serena, being thest one to get to the entrance after

working hours had ended, suddenly noticed Cindy at her desk. She walked over in surprise and asked,

"What are you still doing here? Work has ended."

"Oh," Cindy muttered distractedly. "I just have this one sketch I want to get done and over with before I

    leave."

Serena nced at the rough sketch, and after a moment of thought, she drew out a book from her tote

bag and said, "I saw from yourst few sketches that you tend to mismatch colors, but this book should

help you understand the concept better. Take a look at it while you''re free."

Cindy was stunned by her offer, and she quickly took the book as she said, "Thank you, Miss Warhol."

Serena probably had ns forter, so she turned and left the office after exchanging a few more

    pleasantries with Cindy.

    This text is ? N?velDrama/.Org.

Having ced the book into her bag, Cindy went back toplete the sketch. It was only a rough one,

and when she was satisfied with it, she packed up her things and left thepany. She could have

done the sketch at home since it was so quiet back there, but the homebody side of her associated the

apartment with rest, and it was only when she was in thepany that she could really hunker down

    and work.

She hailed a taxi home, and upon her return, she found that the apartment was empty; Aurora was

    probably at work again.

Cindy made a simple dinner for herself. After that, she sat on the couch and watched a bit of television.

She would have relished moments like this had this been old times, but now, she found herself thinking

about a certain someone more often than she cared to admit.

She fished out her phone and texted Ian. Feeling decidedly sentimental, she typed out the words,

    ''Missing you''.

She wasn''t sure if things were busy on Ian''s end and if he would see her text at all, but either way, she

felt much better after hitting send.

Even if she and Ian acted like an old married couple on most days, some feelings were better off

expressed than pent up. She liked little moments like this where she could word out her emotions and

    let him know about them.

Now that she had considerably brightened up, she set her phone aside and continued watching

    television.

Ian still hadn''t replied to her even after an episode of the variety show had ended. Since she did not

want to wait for a response any longer, she headed into the room to wash up. Then, she tried to tweak

the sketch she had drawn before she left work earlier.

However, not much tweaking was done; the framework for the design was already set, and there was

no changing the way she had drawn the sketch. As such, she tried to tweak it as much as she possibly

could. Soon, she slipped it back into the folder and took out the book Serena had given her.

She had only just flipped through the first two pages when Ian called.

Presently, he had just finished filming on set, and he was walking back to the hotel. There was no one

else with him, so he told her about what happenedst night. "I asked for the identity of the person who

hade knocking on my room door, and the security let me see a photo of the person. I''ve never met

her before, but apparently, she''s a fan. Nheless, that remains to be verified."

Cindy frowned. "Did she exin why she was knocking on your door?"

Ian let out a slow breath and exined, "The security told me that she was supposedly desperate to

see me, so she knocked on my bedroom door to get my attention."

However, he wasn''t really convinced by that excuse. If she really wanted to see him, it wouldn''t have

made sense for her to run away right after she had knocked on the door. She didn''t even bother waiting

for him to answer it so she could meet him face to face.

More importantly, she had returned after the first time only to knock again, and this happened enough

times to make Ian believe she had ulterior motives.

However, given that the girl had painted herself as a fan of his, neither he nor the security guards could

do much about her. This was already a culture among fans who went crazy for the celebrities they

loved, and most people were at a loss as to how they should be dealt with.

Cindy paused in thought. She wasn''t sure if she had any constructive advice to give, and the only thing

she could offer Ian was the sage advice of being extra careful of his surroundings.
