    Chapter 1790 Moment of Silence

Seon thought for o while before soying, “If you’re not in o hurry, o lowyer will be here ofter the funerol to

onnounce Dod’s will. You con leove ofter the will is reod out.”

Ion wosn’t concerned obout the contents of the will. “Never mind. I feel like if I were there, things might

spirol into choos. Just tell me obout the will ofterword.”

Or the lowyer could directly inform Ion too. His presence would not offect the onnouncement ond

distribution of the will. Heoring Ion’s words, Seon decided not to soy onything more.

When the two finished smoking, the butlere over ond told them thot lunch wos reody. They would

be dining in o smoll kitchen in the bockyord. The front yord wos o little out of sorts from oll the troffic, so

the dining toble wos moved to the bock insteod.

Ion ond Seon immediotely storted wolking toword the smoll kitchen. No one bothered to inform the

three people ot the cosket site. The butler olso followed them owoy, leoving the three to their own

devices. Ion woited for the butler toe to his side before chuckling.

It hod been yeors, but the butler still didn’t like those three. Seon didn’t mention onything obout it os the

trio went to the smoll kitchen together. The dishes were olreody loid out on the toble. It wos o simple

    meol.

After sitting down, Ion took the cutlery ond glonced ot the food. He didn’t know how to stort, moinly

becouse he didn’t hove the oppetite. Seon didn’t seem too enthusiostic either os he simply picked up

    some pieces of food.

Sean thought for a while before saying, “If you’re not in a hurry, awyer will be here after the funeral to

announce Dad’s will. You can leave after the will is read out.”

Ian wasn’t concerned about the contents of the will. “Never mind. I feel like if I were there, things might

spiral into chaos. Just tell me about the will afterward.”

Or thewyer could directly inform Ian too. His presence would not affect the announcement and

distribution of the will. Hearing Ian’s words, Sean decided not to say anything more.

When the two finished smoking, the butler came over and told them that lunch was ready. They would

be dining in a small kitchen in the backyard. The front yard was a little out of sorts from all the traffic, so

the dining table was moved to the back instead.

Ian and Sean immediately started walking toward the small kitchen. No one bothered to inform the

three people at the casket site. The butler also followed them away, leaving the three to their own

devices. Ian waited for the butler toe to his side before chuckling.

It had been years, but the butler still didn’t like those three. Sean didn’t mention anything about it as the

trio went to the small kitchen together. The dishes were alreadyid out on the table. It was a simple

    meal.

After sitting down, Ian took the cutlery and nced at the food. He didn’t know how to start, mainly

because he didn’t have the appetite. Sean didn’t seem too enthusiastic either as he simply picked up

    some pieces of food.

The butler spoke. “Just eat a little, if you can. We don’t know how many people will be here in the

afternoon, and things might get even busier. If you don’t eat, you won’t be able to endure it.”

It was a sensible thought, and everyone understood it. However, they were so overwhelmed by the

bustling that they couldn’t stomach much food anymore. Ian ate a little, then leaned against his chair.

“How many days will the funeral be held?”

Sean had intended to hold it for three days, but by the looks of it, they probably wouldn’t be able to

    handle that many days.

So he hesitated a bit before saying, “Two days, I think. Today and tomorrow. The priest said that it

shouldn’t matter if we bury him a day earlier. I just don’t think that it’s necessary to drag it on for so

    long.”

The funeral was held for show, so they didn’t have to overdo it. Ian nodded. “It’s just there for

appearances, so two days will be enough.”

After they had taken a few more bites of the food, Sally turned up. The three must’ve waited at the

casket site for someone to send food over to them, but they eventually ran out of patience.

Seeing that the meal was already prepared, Sally didn’t make a fuss out of it. She simply took her

portions of the food and left. The butler waited for Sally to leave before saying, “They’re probably

leaving after things are settled here.”

Sean lowered his gaze. “I guess so. But I think they’ll start onest fight before they do.”

They definitely wouldn’t agree to the contents of the will when it was announced, and they’d start

making a fuss. Then, they’d realize that they couldn’t get anything and proceed to give up.

Sometimes people just wanted to make a fuss, even though they knew it wouldn’t get them anywhere.

If not, they might look back on it and regret not taking any action.

It was a natural and human thing to do. Everyone would understand. With barely enough food in their

bellies, Ian and Sean put down the cutlery and went off to find spots they could rest in.

The afternoon crowd hadn’t arrived yet, so they still had some time for themselves. Ian took out his

phone again. Thinking for a bit, he went online and did a quick search.

Some people had already posted articles and photos of Bryce’s funeral. These people were decent,

seeing how they didn’t take photos inside the house. They just photographed some scenery outside the

    N?velDrama.Org content rights.

    Morgan Residence.

There was a banner hanging outside the house, so anyone would know what was going on at a nce.

Surprisingly, the article only described the funeral procedures and the number of guests, not forgetting

to mention that many people were grieving.

Thement section was peaceful as well. No one criticized Bryce’s crimes, for most people

    respected the dead.
