    He turned around and looked at her. “Why? You can’t remember?”

    remember much.”


    Without another word, Ian opened the bottle and drank half of it in one go before he went to sit on the


    couch.


    Cindy quickly took out the ingredients that she needed for dinner. She didn’t dare to stay in the living


    room for long and hid herself in the kitchen.

    After she defrosted the food, she went to tell him that Naomi would being over for dinner.
