    Chapter 1492 Not the Same

A photographer like Yulia was usually hard to book, even by bigshots in the industry.

Contrary to that fact, she’d agreed to give Ian a photoshoot. Perhaps she was really doing it for the

    sake of Hannah.

Cindy’s smile was unfaltering as she said, “You and Ms. Jones must be really close friends. She even

    gave you her schedule.”

Yulia didn’t try to cover it up. “Yeah, we’ve been friends for many years. She used to ask me to do

magazine photoshoots for the talents under her, but I never said yes. The reason was simple—they

    simply weren’t worth it.”

Yulia was very frank with her words. Cindy gradually put away the friendliness on her face, and her

    eyebrows twitched momentarily.

What makes them worth it, and what makes them not?

Yulia didn’t want to maintain the small talk with Cindy either; she swiftly pointed at an area not too far

away and said, “I’m going to take some photos over there.”

Cindy nodded. “All right, you do your thing.”

Yulia turned around and walked away. Only then did Cindy notice a huge group of people waiting for

her where she was heading toward—they were probably her team.

This was always the case whenever high-profile figures made an appearance, and Cindy was already

    used to it.

She returned to her seat on the bench. However, her eyes couldn’t help but follow Yulia to where she

    went for some reason.

The woman was holding her beloved camera, rapidly taking photos of the nearby scenery.

Every now and then, her team of assistants even helped her to hold up reflectors and such.

How do some people have it so well in life?

Some people always assumed that they were better than others, while those around them simply

cheered them on and buttered them up.

Even though it was said that all humans were made equal, people just had to draw lines and set

    boundaries in certain industries.

It was just like how Yulia had put it earlier—she thought that celebrities who weren’t famous or well-

    recognized enough weren’t worth photographing.

Truth be told, in Cindy’s talent agency, celebrities who weren’t famous also had the habit of looking

down on others; assistants like her were some of the people who fell into that category.

What happened with Linda some time ago was a good example.

She couldnd a p on her assistant’s face whenever she pleased, and it was evident that she saw

herself as someone of a higher statuspared to her helper.

With that mindset around, a certain hierarchy was then formed.

Cindy became more suffocated the more she thought about it. Eventually, she stood up and left the

    park.

Meanwhile, Yulia, who was nearby, turned around after Cindy promptly left. She nced at the bench

that was now empty and snickered dismissively.

Cindy followed the same path she came from and found a cafe opposite thepany of Naomi’s client.

She only ordered a cup of hot cocoa. Fortunately, nobody would kick her out for upying a table for

too long since there weren’t many customers at the time.

Cindy wasn’t used to drinking coffee, so hot cocoa was the only thing she could tolerate.

In truth, she still liked in water the best—it was the most economical and staple choice.

After sitting down for a few minutes, she received a text message from Hannah, asking her if she was

    taking a break.

Cindy quickly replied and told her that Ian had given her three days off.

Before long, Hannah responded again. Her message was a general reminder for Cindy to keep the

secret seriously and not tell her family about her true rtionship with Ian even if she went back home.

In truth, Cindy knew very well about how to behave, but perhaps Hannah just didn’t trust her fully.

With that being said, Hannah was merely a level higherpared to those whose position she’d

    reflected on earlier.

Cindy initially wanted to exin patiently; she wanted to tell Hannah that she knew how to keep a

promise and wouldn’t do anything out of line since she’d already epted the money.

However, she didn’t feel like it after reading her text message. Thus, she simply replied, ‘I understand.’

As she put down her phone, the thought of Ian flooded her mind again. Needless to say, she didn’t like

admitting that his status was a lot higher than hers.

Since she had been working well with Ian recently, she’d subconsciously put herself on the same level

    as him.

From the looks of it now, though, that was never the case.

Cindy instinctively let out a few scoffs. Although it didn’t feel too great to know that, she seemed to

have understood a lot of things just by acknowledging that fact.

Money ruled the world, and one would always be looked down upon without it.

When she finished drinking half of her hot cocoa, Naomi walked out of the opposite building. Cindy

quickly stood up and waved a hand at her friend. “I’m here.”

Naomi briskly walked to her table and said, “Didn’t you take a walk outside? Why are you just sitting

    here?”

“I went out, but I came back after going around the area once. There’s nothing much to see and it’s too

    boring to be alone.”
