Trantor: 549690339
Wang Xiaohong was shivering in fear when she saw Big Brother Yue in. She looked at him pleadingly, hoping he could stop the terrifying Yu Minng.
Yu Mingli shook his head with a smile, but there was a coldness in his eyes as he looked at Wang Xiaohong. His voice sounded normal, not showing any anger or anything like that.
“Xiaohong, oh Xiaohong, how can you be so uncontroble?”
“Big Brother, Big Brother, I know I was wrong!” Wang Xiaohong knelt on the ground.
“What’s that on the floor? It’s an eyesore. You guys, carry it away!” Big Brother acted as if he didn’t hear her, and cheerfullymanded his men to carry the unconscious people away.
His men took out a sack and stuffed the unconscious people in it, carrying them out like they were merely objects.
“Younger Brother, you really are something. Look, you’ve dirtied the floor and broken the door. You’re such a handful,” Big Brother said to the still-furious Yu Minng.
Wang Xiaohong had thought that the always-smiling big boss of the family was here and she would be let off somewhat. She didn’t expect that she meant less to Yu Mingli than the floor or the door.
“Damn, my nice vacation got ruined by this crap!” Yu Minng rubbed his hands and red at Wang Xiaohong. She was so scared her galldder almost burst.
She began to fear Yu Minng. She used to think she had lucked into a great situation, but now she realized she had always been in a wolf’s den.
“Xiao Qian, you need to control our youngest brother. He’s young and hotheaded, can’t keep calm over the slightest thing,” Yu Mingli said with a smile, but his eyes were sharply observing Xiao Qian’s reaction.
If Xiao Qian showed even a hint of fear or submission, Big Brother Yu might not think as highly of her as he did before.
But Xiao Qian was never one to disappoint anyone. She walked straight past the kneeling Wang Xiaohong and up to Yu Minng’s side.
As soon as Yu Minng saw her, the anger in him subsided. He hoped he hadn’t frightened Qian Bao.
Xiao Qian took out a tissue from her pocket and wiped the blood of the scum off his hands. “Don’t use your hands to hit people. You can’t kick with your legs? You’ve gotten filthy.”
Big Brother genuinelyughed this time.
He then looked at Wang Xiaohong, who had been ignored, with disdain in his smile.
“Wang Xiaohong, how did you manage to marry into this wealthy family, yet not be able to enjoy your good fortune? Second Brother Yu has been putting up with you, and I’ve been turning a blind eye. But now… you’ve reached the end of the line, and your good fortune has run out. Don’t you agree?”
Wang Xiaohong slumped weakly on the ground. She knew she was truly finished this time. The two men of the Yu Family were standing right there, revealing their true faces. She had been too naive before. n/o/vel/b//in dot c//om
It seemed that Big Brother Yu was definitely going to interfere in Second Brother’s affairs today. Cleaning up the family was a must.
“Big Brother, should I go home first?”
“You’re already here, what’s the point of going back? Come with us. Your eldest sister-inw will have your medicine ready tonight. What’s yours is always yours; what’s not yours will never be, even if you borrow it for a while.”
Big Brother Yu always spoke with a smile, so Xiao Qian couldn’t be sure of his true intentions.
Was he trying to scare her by showing her the consequences of Wang Xiaohong’s infidelity, or did he have another reason? Big Brother was a cunning businessman who was hard to figure out.
Xiao Qian looked to Yu Minng for guidance, and he nodded. “Let’s go together.”
She knew him well. Yu Minng didn’t have as many ulterior motives as Big Brother. He just wanted to take her to get the medicine. His reasoning was straightforward – since she had seen everything, there was no need to hide it from herter.
“Respect is no substitute for obedience,” Xiao Qian said to Big Brother. His smile deepened.
“It’s not really an interruption. Your sister-inw and I are getting older, and this family will inevitably rely on you and Minng in the future. It’s good for you to take an early look.”
Xiao Qian looked at Big Brother in surprise, feeling like she had just heard some important information.
Big Brother yfully winked at her, and in a split second, was back to his amiable, smiling self.
Xiao Qian smiled as well, feeling that she had been too suspicious of him.
When she looked at Wang Xiaohong again, she couldn’t describe her feelings. This foolish woman had paved a smooth road for Xiao Qian with her own self-destruction.
Yu Mingli’s house wasn’t far from Second Brother’s vi – they were both in the same area. They were luxuriously decorated, befitting people with a lot of money.
Wang Xiaohong hadn’t been there many times before. She had her own illness, and the eldest sister-inw was an expert in gynecology. Xiaohong had to wear a lot of perfume during each meeting to cover up the smell. She had once been very envious of the couple living in thisvish house and had thrown several tantrums at Second Brother because of it.
Sheined that Second Brother couldn’t make money.
But now that she was brought here, she no longer felt envious. The magnificent house looked like hell, as if once you went in, you would nevere out alive.
She thought Big Brother and Yu Minng would beat her up and possibly even silence her forever…
However, the Yu brothers just locked her in a small room and then, as if nothing happened, took Xiao Qian and Yu Minng upstairs. Xiao Qian noticed that the eldest sister-inw hadn’te out, guessed that Big Brother had either sent her away or asked her to stay at her own family’s home.
The eldest sister-inw and Yu Minng’s mother had a very close rtionship. Obviously, Big Brother wanted to keep this a secret from his mother, so he didn’t even tell his own wife. But it was worth pondering why Big Brother didn’t care about keeping it a secret from Xiao Qian.
Big Brother Yu sat at the carved tea table, leisurely brewing kung fu tea for Yu Minng and Xiao Qian.
Xiao Qian looked back at Yu Minng, her eyebrows slightly furrowed.
Yu Minng appeared to be still angry.
“Why the hell is Yu Mingyi taking so long? Hurry up and get divorced! I want it done today!”
“Divorce doesn’t happen that fast,” Xiao Qian interjected.
“I don’t care about the procedure. I want it done today, no matter what!”
“Yu Minng, people often lose IQw they get angry. Put your brain on and think about this! Can you let Uncle and Aunt find out about this? Didn’t you see that Big Brother sent eldest sister-inw away? Do you want to upset them too?”
Big Brother Yu kept leisurely drinking his tea while Xiao Qian talked, a satisfied look in his eyes.
After hearing Xiao Qian’s words, Yu Minng suppressed his temper and sat up straight without speaking.
Xiao Qian stood up, switched seats with Big Brother, and began to brew tea with the standard kung fu tea process. “Tea and Zen are one and the same. Serve tea without feeling thebor, and quietly enjoy a good cup of tea. Don’t let unrted people or things disturb your heart.”
Yu Minng took the tea she offered and gulped it down. Xiao Qian refilled his cup, and after drinking two cups, he regained control of his emotions. He had figured it out – this matter had to wait for his second brother to resolve, couldn’t make a scene, and couldn’t tell their parents either..
