    trick me out here and then kidnap me? Is this how you treat your elders?”

    Barrett squinted at her. “Lost my virtue? I’ve always stayed out of family matters, living as azy, idle


    man. Where did I lose my virtue?”


    “Uncle Barrett, take a look at this,” Sheena said, turning to Ford.


    Ford handed over Nathaniel’s statement to Barrett.


    “Uncle Barrett, I won’t make it too difficult for you. Read through Nathaniel’s statement and see if it has


    anything to do with you.”
