    Ian headed straight to the foyer. “It’s alright. Just wait for me at home. She might be more agreeable if


    you aren’t around. I’ll see what she has to say, and then I’ll tell you about it.”


    Cindy paused for a moment, and she agreed to it. She sent Ian off, and after he went down, she sighed


    and went back into the house. Since it was early and she had nothing to do, she sat on the couch.


    It was nearly lunchtime, but she had no appetite, and she wanted to eat nothing. A whileter, her


    phone rang, and she took it quickly, thinking that it was from Ian. However, she calmed down when she


    saw the caller’s name. Aurora? Sheposed herself and took the call.


    “Hey, Cindy. What are you doing? Are you busy?” she asked, but she didn’t sound too happy.


    “Oh, I’m justzing around at home. Are you home, Aurora? Wannae over?”


    “Sure. Give me a minute. I need to talk to you.”


    Cindy could guess what she wanted to talk about. Well, if she sounds so unhappy, then it must be


    about that guy. Oh wait. I forgot to tell Ian about it. Cindy waited at home for a short while, and Aurora


    came over.
