her once.
After saying that, Hannah pondered for a moment before asking again, “Have you guys been in contact
privately?”
Yulia had always known that Hannah was a smart person, so she knew she couldn’t keep the secret
from her any longer and admitted the truth. Still, she exined everything nonchntly and told
Hannah that Ian and Aurora rejected her approach when she tried to share her resources with them
previously.
Nevertheless, Yulia was embarrassed to admit that she was trying to poach Cindy’s boyfriend, no
matter how straightforward she was. Hence, she only told Hannah that she admired Ian, so she wanted
to help him out, but he preferred to build his own career.
Although it was unknown whether Hannah believed what Yulia said, she carried on with Yulia’s ims
and said, “Ian’s decision is correct. Now that he’s under scrutiny, he might get targeted by others if he
rises up in his career because of your assistance, and they might release scandals about him if that
happened. I feel like it’s good that he’s taking things step by step now.”
Ian’s backers now were not bad. Besides, the investors could see his potential past his previous
scandals, and more of them started reaching out to him to offer him work opportunities now. Even
without Yulia’s help, Ian wouldn’t take long to rise with his value now.
At this moment, Yulia hummed in acknowledgment with a hint of a smile on her face. “That’s true. I
know he has potential, and that’s why I wanted to help him so that he can avoid making wrong steps.”

Hannah pondered for a moment before saying, “You’ve never admired anyone in the past, but you
suddenly thought that Ian is not bad and made so much effort to offer him valuable resources. I bet you
owe Ian a favor, don’t you?”
Yulia and Hannah had known each other for years and understood each other, so Yulia knew that
Hannah would surely suspect something if she revealed nothing.
Pausing for a moment, she exined, “Truthfully, I’ve got my eyes on Ian ever since he joined the
talent show. Back then, I even tried to campaign for him to help him get more votes. If you ask around
our mutual friends, all of them would tell you I’ve contacted them and begged them to support Ian. I’m
sure you understand me well. I don’t just set my eyes on someone randomly, but once I do, I’ll try my
best to help them out.”
Afraid that Hannah still didn’t believe her, Yulia mentioned Cindy as well. “I’ve also run into his girlfriend
a few times on different asions, and she’s a really likable girl as well. I feel like I really like the two of
them, so I naturally felt like helping them.”
After hesitating for a while, Hannah replied, “I see. If that’s your intention, I can try helping you to take
over these resources.”
Nevertheless, she made herself clear. “Still, I never mentioned your name when I went to discuss the
details with them, so they might think that the resources are from thepany, so they might not
recognize you doing them this favor.”
Yet, Yulia didn’t really pay any mind to that as she didn’t care about them being in debt to her.
Still, all of these resources belonged to her and were given by her, so even if they were to liquidate
things in the end, it would still mean that they owed her a favor.
“It’s fine.” Then, Yulia said congrattory words, hoping that Ian’s work would go smoothly and he
would be able to be an A-list celebrity without any obstacles.
“If I have any suitable resources for any of the celebrities you’re managing, I’ll share them.”
Nheless, Hannah didn’t continue the conversation, and the call ended after they exchanged
formalities for a while.
While Yulia was smiling during the call session, her face dropped almost immediately after the call
ended.
She knew that she was being too rash, and it made her upset that Ian was trying to distance himself
from her during her call with him previously.
