Ian turned to look at her. “I’m the same. In the eyes of others, my life is not bad at all, but look at the
kind of life I live.”

affairs too. Yet, he felt that these were things that he should endure. The adult world was not that
smooth sailing, so if one wanted to be a public figure, one must be able to bear the public scrutiny. How

Yulia looked at Ian with a very focused gaze, and as their eyes met, he felt that she was looking at him

Ian withdrew his eye contact first and said, “Every industry has its difficulties; at least we make more
money. People in other industries have suffered so much yet may not earn in a lifetime what we earn in
one year.”
Yulia nodded. “That''s true.”
After giving it a thought, he responded, “I knew from the beginning when I entered this industry that this
road will not be easy, so I have prepared for many things. I never assume that I’ll be sessful until
the end and I’m not a sentimental person either. If I can’t survive here, there are always other ces
that will take me.”
Upon saying that, he smiled. “I actually regret it sometimes. If I didn''t get involved in this industry, Cindy
wouldn''t be brought into it by me and she won’t have to bear those groundless usations. In fact,
what has she done wrong?”
