    worrying about me at this point?”


    As soon as he finished speaking, the door to the meeting room opened, and Hannah walked in with


    documents in hand. Cindy was surprised by Hannah’s sudden appearance, so she subconsciously


    recoiled from Ian and swatted his hand away.


    Ian stared at Cindy, his expression falling somewhere between smiling and not. Hannah didn’t notice


    the interaction between the two. Her phone was in her other hand, and she walked in while she was on


    the phone, so her gaze was trained on the floor. Cindy gave Ian a warning re, then adjusted herself


    and sat upright.


    Hannah walked over and sat down, then spoke a little more into her phone before hanging up. After


    that, she stared at Ian and Cindy, then let out a breath. “I see that you’re in quite a good condition


    yourselves. I take it that your days weren’t as horrible as I thought they were?”


    Ian nodded. “It was fine, actually.”


    Hannah sighed. “So you’re done with all the family matters?”


    She was talking about Bryce. Ian didn’t attempt to keep it a secret as he said, “The will is yet to be


    announced, so I think the next uproar wille from the announcement of the will itself.”


    Hannah nodded. “Do you have any information on the will? Maybe something that might affect your


    reputation?”


    Ian couldn’t say for sure. “I’ve never asked about it. I’m not too clear on the details.”


    Hannah crossed her arms andid them on the table. “All right, then I’ll have the PR department make


    some preparations and see what sort of hot news mighte from your family.”


    With that, she went back to business andmented on Ian’s reputation outside. The public opinion of


    him wasn’t too great before, but since the Morgans had given him full support, and also since Ian went


    to the hospital to visit Bryce, thepany managed to ride on the wave.
