    Jared did not respond and called the server in angrily, “Get me a steak.”


    “Sure.” The server turned and left.


    Nicole stared at him as if she wanted to ask him what was wrong. Jared frowned. “I’ll pay for it myself,


    okay?” Nicole finally gave in to eating with him at the same table, so she continued eating. Jared

    The worst thing was Mr. Riddle Sr. insisted on waiting for Nicole before they started eating. Karen really
