    Ste knew he was up to no good again and flicked his hand away. “ Cut it out.”


    Weston retracted his hand and rubbed her head. He was clearly in a good mood. “Come. Let me bring


    you somewhere interesting.”


    Ste thought that he was bringing her to some entertaining establishment. She never expected him to


    bring her to the Ford ancestral hall.


    From afar, she saw Xavier kneeling in the hall and thought she must have been hallucinating.


    “What… is all this about?”
