Chapter 2663
Charlie and Faizal followed behind the man as they walked into the cer, and it was only then that Charlie discovered that this cer was indeed dug very deep. Even the staircase itself was at least five to six meters deep, and it was about two stories high.
As it was the rainy season during winter in Syria, there was a lot of rain, and the staircase was very dark and damp. The soil on both sides of the staircase also revealed a very strong earthy smell.Property of N?)(velDr(a)ma.Org.
As they were walking down, the person who was leading the way in front said in a ttering manner," Captain Faizal, can I ask you for your help in regards to a certain matter?" 4
Faizal asked coldly, "What is it?"
The man hurriedly said, "Captain Faizal, I would like to apply to join the armored brigade. I can control heavy machine guns!"
Faizal sneered as he asked, "I think that the reason why you want to join the armored brigade is because you are afraid of dying, right?"
"No, no." The man hurriedly said, "I simply want to join the armored brigade so that I can train there for a while..."
Faizalughed before he said, "I will think about it, and I will let you know when the timees.''
The man replied excitedly, "Thank you, Captain Faizal!"
With that said, the man had already stepped down to the bottom of the cer.
There was an iron door at the bottom of the cer, and there was lighting from a small window that was open on the iron door.
At this moment, the man who had led the way mmed his hand hard on the iron door as he said," Open up the door. Captain Faizal is here!" Someone inside immediately opened the irontch. After that, a man with curly hair stuck his head out as he waved at Faizal before he smiled and said, "Captain Faizal, why are you here?"
Faizal replied coldly, "Themander asked me toe over to take a look andmunicate with the hostages."
The man hurriedly stepped aside and made way as he smiled and said, "Captain Faizal, pleasee in!"
Faizal then told the man who had led the way, "You can go back. I have taken note of the matter that you have mentioned to me earlier. I will update you as soon as possible." 3
"Thank you so much, Captain Faizal. You can go ahead and settle your matters, I will go up first! I will save some roastedmb leg for you and wait for you toe up and eat it!"
The man turned around and left. Faizal then waved his hand at Charlie before the both of them entered the cer one after the other.
Charlie had initially thought that the cer would be a very small space, but he never would have expected it to actually be apletely different world. 3
There were two rooms in the cer. The outer room was about twenty square meters, and there were four soldiers standing guard here. There was another wall as well as a big iron door without any windows inside. Charlie could sense that there were another eight people inside. It had to be Autumn and her friends.
Faizal asked someone to close the door that they had just entered at this moment. After that, he looked at Charlie as he wondered what other instructions thetter would have for him next. 3
The four soldiers who were keeping guard were not very alert or vignt. They were simply standing at the side in a very rxed and carefree manner as they held their guns in their hands. One of them was wearing a pair of headphones, and it seemed as though he was listening to songs.
At this moment, the soldier who had
initially opened the iron door for them approached Faizal as he asked in a low voice, "Captain Faizal, when is themander going to take action? In my opinion, it would be better for us to kill these Americans now. It ispletely useless to keep them alive longer, and the few of us even have to stay and keep guard here. It is so damp and smelly here. My skin is itching, and I feel so ufortable all over after staying down here for a long time!" 4
Faizal replied indifferently, "Themander naturally has his own ns in regards to their matter. So, you should just carry out themander''s orders sincerely and earnestly. Don''t talk or ask about anything else!"
"Okay, then." The man sighed
helplessly as he said, "If it is truly not possible, Captain Faizal, why
don''t you help to speak up on ouret
behalf, then? Arrange for some men to change shifts with us and take over our shifts in turn. It is indeed very miserable and excruciating for us to constantly stay in the cer."
Charlie walked up to the man at this time as he patted his shoulder lightly as he smiled and said, "Brother, we are all working for themander. So, don''t have so manyints!" 6
