    Hannah had never thought that Lady Wilson would fall out with her.


    Seeing her carrying many stic bags filled with food, she said aggrievedly, "Mother, since you''ve


    brought back so much good food, let me take a few bites. After all, I''ve starved for a long time..."


    Lady Wilson snorted, "Go get a job to feed yourself. How shameless of you to ask an elderly like me


    to feed you!"


    Hannah nervously blurted out, "That''s all Jacob''s fault! Otherwise, I would''ve earned more than you


    by working as a cashier!" 3


    Lady Wilson pouted and said, "All these are none of m y business. The money you earn belongs to


    yourself while the money I earn is mine. We shan''t take advantage of each other. As such, don''t you


    ever think of taking in my meals. Go work outside and earn your own meal!"


    Hannah red at her furiously. Then, she blurted out," Olddy, are you throwing stones at me who


    has fallen into a well? If you insist, I’ll leave this house!”


    Lady Wilsonughed and pped her hand, "Good! You’d better leave fast. I can’t wait to celebrate


    your leaving with firecrackers! If not for Donald, I would’ve kicked you out from our house! If you


    want to leave


    this house willingly, go ahead! Donald can''t me me after all, how great is that!"


    Hannah gritted her teeth. "Great! We shall see, you old thing!"


    Wendy rushed over hurriedly to smooth things out," Grandma, please don''t argue with Mother. She


    has starved for a long time, please let her have some food!"


    "Let her take her food?'' Lady Wilson sneered. "I would rather feed the dogs instead of letting her


    take even a single bite!"


    Lady Wilson then continued, "Pass the dishes over to me, you go get the tableware. All four of us


    will be having our meals here right in front of her!"


    Hannah cried and scolded, "Lady Wilson, I was married into your family and had given birth to


    several children. How dare you not even give me a spoonful of rice? How heartless are you?"


    Lady Wilson said in despise, "Go think of a way to feed yourself. Aren’t you good at seducing men?


    Why don’t you go out and look for one now? Who knows, perhaps you might find a wealthy one!"

    Very often, Lady Wilson liked to humiliate her with the incident at Mount ckpine. Yet, she could


    not refute her in any way.


    She was outraged and stomped her feet in resentment,


    then gritted her teeth and said, "From now on, I am officially broken up with your family!"


    She then mmed the door and walked back into her own room.


    As Christopher had no feelings for Hannah, he kept quiet. In his heart, he too hoped that Hannah


    could disappear from his life.


    On the other hand, Harold felt reluctant.


    Regardless of how many shameful deeds Hannah had done, he was still his mother. 4


    Seeing that her mother was about to be kicked out from the house soon, Harold felt reluctant and


    said to Lady Wilson, "Grandma, please forgive Mother this time!" 5


    Lady Wilson snorted, "Whoever mentions another word about this woman can get out of my house


    immediately!" 2


    Harold was famished. Therefore, if there was anything in conflict with food, he would choose the


    latter without hesitation.


    As such, he kept his mouth shut.


    Very soon, Wendy came with the tableware and poured all the leftovers into the containers with


    Lady Wilson. Wendy wolfed the dishes down together with the steamed bun and that was followed


    by another steamed bun.


    Lady Wilson was full. So, she held the bowl and


    cutlery and fed Christopher and Harold, who were lying in bed.


    Both father and son were like the newly-hatched chicks on the nest. They opened their mouths


    widely waiting to be fed. They couldn''t help but burst into tears the moment they could finally taste


    the meals. 1


    Lady Wilson felt very heartbroken when she saw their expression. She said with teary eyes,


    "Tomorrow, I''ll work for the whole day and get some bread and meat a t night. The four of us shall


    have dumplings together!" 2


    Christopher cried as he asked, "Mother, is it true that w e can eat dumplings tomorrow?"


    Lady Wilson nodded her head assuringly. "No worries.


    After buying and returning home, I’ll wrap the dumplings with Wendy and feed you both!"
