Chapter 1841
After leaving Tiffany''s, Nanako apanied Charlie t o shop at Ginza''s major stores. 2
For the sake of it, and to be fair, Charlie bought a high-end Boss suit for Jacob, his father-inw.
Ever since Jacob''s appointment as the executive director for the Calligraphy and Painting
Association, he spent most of his time there and had be its second-best person, earning
himself an honorable reputation in the association. 2
Moreover, the association he was in now had a lot of cultural coboration with the Senior
University that Matilda was at, so Jacob could suit up a little to make himself look more charismatic
and dignified. 3
Besides, Charlie also bought a few other smaller essories and souvenirs.
At 3.30 pm, there was still about two hours before Charlie’s flight to Osaka. Considering that the
Tokyo Airport was quite a distance from the city, Charlie said, "Nanako, it''s almost time for me to go
to the airport.” 1
Without hesitation, Nanako replied, "Charlie-kun, I''ll see you off!” 2
"But I have to drive there and leave the car at the airport. How do youe back if you go with
me?" replied Charlie.
"It’s okay.” Nanako blurted. "I’ll have someone pick me up at the airport. You don’t have to worry
about me." 2
Charlie asked involuntarily, "Isn''t it too much of a trouble for you?”
"No, it’s not!" Nanako pleaded. "Charlie-kun, if possible, I want to fetch you to the airport, to Osaka,
even to Aurous Hill, but because of the current situation in my family, I can''t be on sabbatical for too
long, and I hope you’ll give me a chance to see you off a t the airport."
Upon hearing those words, Charlie was moved. "Then we''ll drive to the airport. Call someone at
home now s 0 that they can pick you up at the airportter." 3
"Okay!” Nanako nodded and said joyfully, "Be rest assured that I''ll have everything nned out!” 3
"Wonderful!"
Charlie stopped insisting as they hopped into the car and made their way to the airport.

This journey was the first leg of Charlie''s return-to-home journey. 4
On the way, Nanako was preupied. She kept stealing nces at Charlie and was extremely
upset about his departure.
She had already developed feelings for him back in Aurous Hill, and when she met him again in
Japan, shepletely fell for him deeply.
After separating from Charlie this time, she didn''t know if she would have the chance to see him
again. She knew that Charlie had already managed to ditch the emotional baggage this trip.
Nanako was a brilliant woman. She knew that the reason Charlie came to Japan must’ve been due
to her injury. He sympathized with her and also happened to have the treatment that could cure her.
Hence, he came to Kyoto with medicine and healed her. 6
Deep inside her heart, she couldn''t help thinking in sorrow: Now that my injury has beenpletely
healed, I guess he would forget all about me now, right? 2
Thinking of this, Nanako was very sad and heartbroken.
If possible, she was willing to give up anything in exchange for Charlie to stay in Japan, but she
knew very well that it would never happen.
