Chapter 919
After ine returned to the detention center from the police station for questioning, she was
extremely anxious and restless while waiting for the results.
She had no idea if the police would release her, so she prayed and prayed wholeheartedly. 7
In the two days since being locked up in the detention center, she had suffered the torment that she
had never experienced in her life. She was on the verge of copsing right now. She feared that she
would die here if they didn''t release her. 6
Lady Wilson was in jitters when she knew that ine was called to the police station for questioning
this morning. She was worried that ine would confess t o the officer about the bullying she had
suffered in the cell by her and Jennifer. 4
She was also worried that ine would apply for a cell change.
If the officer took her away, her greatest and only pleasure in the detention center would be gone! s

For so long, Lady Wilson was down in the dumps because of the misfortune and tribtions that
stumbled upon the Wilson family. The sorrow persisted until ine was locked up in the same cell
with her that she regained the joy and beauty of life. 6
She grinned delightfully at the thought of her being
released in ten days while ine might have to be jailed for more than ten or twenty years. 5
ine curled up in the corner of the cell as soon as she returned. Lady Wilson approached ine
and asked in amusement, "Hey, I heard you were called to the station for questioning?" 5
ine looked at her and said, her voice shaky, "Yes, Mom, they wanted to ask me something."
Lady Wilson asked coldly, "Did you bber then? Did youin to them?"
ine shook her head with fright and said, "No, Mom! Don''t worry, I didn’t tell them anything that
happened i n the cell. They asked me about the case, that''s all."
Lady Wilson breathed a sigh of relief and snorted," Hey, have you consulted with awyer? How
long will you be sentenced to anyway? Ten? Fifteen?”
ine shook her head helplessly and murmured, "I haven''t hired awyer yet, so I don''t know how
long I will be sentenced to.”
ine would never dare to be truthful to her that she might be released soon because she was
positive that they would go all out and torture her severely when they knew that she was going to be
released. 2
So she decided to hold it in until the moment the police came to release her.
Lady Wilson sneered sinisterly and said, "I heard that you will be jailed at least fifteen years based
on the
severity of your case!"
She sighed but said in an excited voice, "Oh, fifteen years, ine, fifteen years! I can’t even stand
fifteen days! I wonder how you''d take it then? Oh, I''m so worried about you." 5
ine mumbled timidly, "I don''t know, Mother! I''m so scared right now, I can’t even imagine how it''s
like to b e locked up for fifteen years..."
Jennifer walked up to ine, pped her twice on her face, and growled, "A shameless shrew like
you who stole someone else''s husband should be locked up in jail forever! Think about the Matilda
Hall who was forced to run away to the United States! Although I don''t know her and I’ve never
even met her, I shiver in anger every time I think of what you did to her. I want to take revenge on
her behalf!" 1
Again, she grabbed ine''s hair and pped her face continuously.
Blood soon flew out of the corner of ine''s mouth. Just when Jennifer decided to stop, Lady
Wilson, who watched the scene coldly, was waiting to teach her a lesson. 9
She grabbed and pulled ine''s ear with great force that ine wailed in pain.
"Hey, Mom, why do you pull my ear? What did I do wrong this time?"
