As Irene moved her body, she knitted her brows due to the sharp pain. She stiffened with pain.
The pain brought her back to her senses in an instant. She had to submerge her whole body in the

clothes. She got annoyed at the person outside who she saw through the peephole.
The man was still knocking heavily; she had to open it with a frown.
The middle-aged man outside the door looked annoyed. “What takes you so long to open the door?
What are you doing?”
“Uncle, watch your mouth.” It was Irene’s uncle, Samuel Wade, followed by his wife. Irene looked at
them.
“Oh, you were taking a shower? Howe you take a shower at this time?” Amber Wade held her
hand and noticed the swollen marks on her neck.

Irene pushed her hand away and walked into the room.
