    Not long after the call ended, her phone rang again.


    Anxiously, Lysander asked, “Did he agree?”


    “Mr. Guerra has agreed,” Carol ryed Josiah’s response in a courteous manner.


    Atst, Lysander’s anxious heart had somewhat eased.


    “He stated that thepany is originally the Thorne family’s property, and the money naturally


    belonged to the Thorne family members. He was merely helping to manage it, and as long as Mr.

    No need. I need to go somewhere else,” Lysander gently declined. She then hurried to the nearest


    bank and promptly transferred twelve million from thepany’s ount to the Everhart family’s


    ount.


    After all was said and done, she finally had a chance to catch her breath. She sat down in the bank’s


    lounge area and let out a long sigh.


    When Daphne called, Lysander had just stepped out of the bank. She expressed her frustration,
