Madeline dragged Elise into the car. It was not that she didn’t care about Elise’s life, she had a strong

Noah.
“Maddie, slow down. I don’t want to die yet.” Elise held on to Madeline’s hand on the steering wheel.

Madeline frowned and was annoyed. Elise persuaded, “Maddie, don’t frown. Talk to him. Maybe you

“Where are you?” Noah raised his voice. He could picture Madeline’s annoyance in his mind.
“I’m busy now. I’ll talk to youter. In about two hours, I’ll contact you again. Give me an hourter.”
Madeline hung up the phone after she finished speaking.

Half an hourter, Madeline parked her car in front of the boutique. Elise got out of the car with weak

Noah pursed his lips. He didn’t know what he wanted to do. He just wanted to look at her and stay with
her, doing nothing.
“Mr. Quincy, you saw what happened on the road just now. Our safety was threatened. So, can you
please be sensible? The thing we should do now is to find out the truth behind it.” Madeline said.
Noah leaned down and fastened her seat belt. He then started the engine, “We will be the bait to lure
them out.”
