    Tigerus had been locked up in the water dungeon for three days, but his freedom wasn''t restricted

    out of the water dungeon and invite Yuven and Ivasha to a meal where he would spike their food.


    Meanwhile, Jared had spent three whole days cultivating. On top of trying to understand Thunder


    Palm, he continued to refine the demonic fire within his body, hoping to one day amalgamate the


    two.


    On that particr day, Jared was busy cultivating when Ivasha brought him a meal that she had


    personally prepared.


    Over thest few days, she had assumed responsibility for all his daily needs.


    Although Jared was cognizant of her intentions and recognized the effort she had put in, he was not


    in a position to promise her anything yet.

    Just as Jared slowly opened his eyes to get out of bed for his meal, a red light shed across his


    waist. Vi''s anxious voice rang out.


    Before he left, he had given Vi amunication device so that she could get in touch with him


    during emergencies.


    “Jared, where are you?”


    “Ms. Warwick, I''m somewhere near the base of Emerald Cauldron Sect. What''s wrong?”


    Jared didn''t say that he was in Imperial Beast City for fear that Vi might get the wrong idea. After


    all, without alchemy as a barrier, Imperial Beast City and human sects were on hostile terms with


    each other.


    “Thank God. You should hurry back. Hosen is on his way here with his men to attack us. I have


    already ordered for the main gate to be sealed and Mountain Defense Formation to be activated.


    However, it won''t stop them for long. This time, Hosen has brought with him the beast cultivators


    from Norwal City who are all formidable opponents!”


    “Got it. I''ll head back at once. Hang in there and wait for me!”


    Jared ended the call and dashed right out without hesitation.


    Ivasha ran after him. “Jared, what''s going on? Who is that woman?”


    Ivasha had begun to guess who Vi was the moment she heard her voice.

    Cauldron Sect to deal with some matters. Get your father to keep an eye on the city,” Jared


    instructed Ivasha.


    “Is Emerald Cauldron Sect in danger? What is your rtionship with them? Do you want me to go


    with you?”


    Ivasha fired a barrage of questions at Jared.


    Unfortunately, Jared heard none of them, for he had already disappeared from her sight.


    “Hmph! He cares so much for that woman yet he ignores me...”


    Ivasha pouted in dissatisfaction as she went to see her father to ry Jared''s message.


    While Jared was on his way to Emerald Cauldron Sect, Hosen had surrounded its gates with more


    than a hundred beast warriors from Norwal City.


    Standing right beside Hosen was a thin old man who was mumbling something.


    The old man was a general of Norwal City who had reached Fifth Level Body Fusion Realm. He


    was sent by Norwal City to aid Hosen in his attempt to seize power as the lord of Emerald Cauldron


    Sect.


    He was enough to help Hosen achieve his goal. After all, the strongest cultivator of Emerald


    Cauldron Sect was Ebenez, who was only at Third Level Body Fusion Realm.


    Hosen wasn''t aware that Ebenez had failed to seize the position and that Vi was currently the


    lord of the sect.

    manner.
