Chapter 1864 What’s Going On

The ten odd bodyguards immediately stood in front of Lance and Lana as they looked warily at
Heifer standing across from them.
"Heifer, who told you toe here?” shouted one of the bodyguards.
"Young Master Lance, Young Mistress Lana, I''m sorry but you can''t leave Tokyo."
Heifer ignored the bodyguards. These men were like dead men to him.
He rubbed his bald head and smiled a little maniacally. "There is an order from the n that says
both of you must remain in Tokyo and you''re not allowed to go anywhere else.”
Lance and Lana both paled.
"Whose order is it?" shouted Lance.
"Whose order it is isn''t important. The important part is that this order exists." Heifer smiled and
stretched his arm out.
"Please go back."
"Move aside!" Lana shouted angrily. "I want to go back and ask the n leader myself!"
"Making us stay in Tokyo is as good as sending us to die!"
It wasn''t advisable for them to remain in Tokyo. The Yamaguchi Syndicate released her on ount
of Jiang Ning, so there was no knowing whether they might suddenly change their mind or not.
Besides, the royal family had remained silent, and so had the real controller of the Yamaguchi
Syndicate.
Things were definitely going to go badly if she continued to stay in this ce filled with
uncertainties.
"Whether you live or die depends on your own choice. My mission here is to carry out the order and
make sure neither of you returns." Heifer kept a smile on his face.

"Move aside!" Lana took a step forward and her expression was furious.
She never had to listen to what a subordinate said.
She attempted to push Heifer away, but Heifer kept that fake smile on while a sinister glint shed in
his eyes.

"Miss Lana, don''t force me to kill you."

All the bodyguards immediately rushed over while Lance quickly helped Lana to her feet. He never
thought that someone from their n would actually try to hit them.
"Heifer, are you tired of living?!
"You''re the ones who are tired of living." Heifer nced at all of them and clearly had no regard for
the bodyguards at all. "Listen to me and just stay in Tokyo, then perhaps you might live. If you resist
this order, then I''ll have no choice but to kill all of you!"
The two siblings trembled.
They never thought that the n would treat them like this.
"The two of you are just bargaining chips in a transaction. It''s very cruel, but that''s the truth," said
Heifer.
Lana wanted to take another step forward but Lance held her back.
"Let''s go! Come on!"
Lance was very sure Heifer would really just kill them on the spot.
Lance didn''t know whose orders Heifer he was listening to, and had no idea what transaction this
was. Even if they had to be sacrificed, surely they didn''t have to do things this way, right?
What about the n leader?
Wasn''t the n leader going to say anything about this?
Lance didn''t say anything and just looked deeply at Heifer before he grit his teeth and returned to
the hotel with Lana.
When they reached the hotel, he immediately called home but nobody picked up the phone.
No matter who he tried to call, the calls wouldn''t get through and he simply couldn''t get hold of

"Mr Lance, there''s some problem back home. I told you before that it was already very difficult for us
toe here to protect you. Going back home now is not necessarily a good idea," said one of his
bodyguards with a torn expression on his face. "The n leader is dealing with this,
but nobody knows how long he''ll take to settle it."
Lance looked a little pale.
What problem was there within the n? Why didn''t he know anything?
Heifer was supposed to be someone working for the Salo family, but even he dared to kill them now!

fists but had no answers to his questions.
