Natalie declined. “Skr’s busy today, and I don’t know when she’ll be done. So, there’s no need to trouble you, Mr. Powell.”
She felt that Austin had been acting strangetely, though she couldn’t quite put her finger on what was off. Every time he looked at her, his gaze was too captivating, making her heart race unexpectedly.
“I see. Well, let’s head back to the hotel then,” Austin said, looking at her deeply.
Natalie just responded with a quick nod.
After walking away from the set, Austin noticed Natalie’s low spirits and asked, “Are you feeling down?”
“Huh? No, not at all. Maybe I didn’t sleep wellst night. I’ll take a nap when we get back to the hotel.”
There was no way she could admit she felt that Austin had been looking at her in a way that gave her the impression that he might like her.
