Chapter 962
Natalie took arge gulp of the mango juice. It was incredibly delicious. Freshly squeezed juice was definitely the best.
“This is delicious. Thest time I visited an orchard, I didn’t see any mango trees,” she said.
Austin replied, “The chef brought the mangoes from the supermarket.”
Natalie nodded and said, “No wonder.”
If there had been mangoes in the orchard, she would have picked them and eaten them right away.
Skr smiled slightly, noting that Austin’s attention to Natalie’s preferences showed his genuine interest. Looking at Natalie’s reaction toward Austin, it was evident that she had theplete attitude of an employee toward a boss or a fan toward an idol. This made Austin’s pursuit of her potentially challenging. “Lamb skewers are ready! Come and eat. I’ll start grilling the beef skewers and chicken wings,” Hank called out, his face reddened from the grill.
While he ate, he continued to speak to them.
Natalie’s eyes lit up as she ran back. “Mr. Powell, Skr, just sit and wait. I’ll bring themb skewers.”
The freshly grilledmb skewers smelled incredibly tempting. After taking a bite, Skr gave Hank a bigpliment. “They’re so delicious. Better than any barbecue I’ve had in Jipsburg.”
Originally, Skr thought Hank might have been boasting, but now it was clear Hank was truly skilled.
“Yes, yes, this is the best barbecue I’ve ever had.” Natalie nodded in agreement.
Hankughed heartily at the praise. “Barbecue not only requires good quality meat but also proper grilling. This is a family receipt. My dad has run a barbecue restaurant for over 20 years and taught me all the techniques. If you like it, we should get together more often when we’re back in Jipsburg.”
Austin ate sparingly.
Even though themb skewers were incredibly aromatic, he restrained himself to only two skewers.
Seeing this, Natalie felt a bit sorry. Austin was so disciplined for his dreams that he could only have two skewers of such delicious meat. N?velD(ram)a.?rg owns this content.
“Mr. Powell, would you like some veggie wraps? They’re filled with onions andtro, and I asked Hank to use less oil and salt,” she offered.
Austin looked at her and smiled. “Sure, that sounds good.”
Natalie went over to get the veggie wraps.
Austin then asked Skr, “Do you think she likes me?”
Skr shook her head with a smile. “It’s hard to tell right now.”
Given Natalie’s personality and her recent divorce from Jeremy, she likely wasn’t considering jumping into another rtionship so soon.
Therefore, she probably hadn’t thought that Austin might have feelings for her. Austin’s smile faded slightly as he took a sip of the red wine. Then, he said, “I guess I haven’t done enough yet.”
The barbecue continued for over two hours.

Afterward, they moved inside to rx. They sipped wine and sang songs. There weren’t many people, but the atmosphere wasfortable.
Skr had a low tolerance for alcohol, so she stopped after just one ss of red wine.
Natalie was slightly tipsy. She turned to Hank and said, “Why don’t you sign me on as an actress? Mr. Powell says
I have talent, and he gets into character quickly when we act together.” Hank was also a bit drunk. “Acting with you, Austin would definitely get into character.”
Natalie didn’t catch the meaning behind Hank’s words. “What do you mean, acting with me gets him into character? Are you saying I have acting skills?”
Hank asked, “The entertainment industry isn’t easy to work in. You have to constantly manage your figure and navigate all sorts of interactions. Can you handle that?”
The entertainment industry was particrly tough for women. Many female celebrities were not as morous as they appeared, and they endured many unseen struggles.
Though he had been drinking, he wasn’t drunk. Otherwise, he would have said it outright.
