those years ago when he disappeared.
“Perhaps there is apelling reason, or maybe…” Jason
pursed his thin lips.
“Maybe what?” Grace asked.

“Not a big deal, I might have overthought it. Let’s wait until we
confirm if this person is really Lawrence or not,” Jason said.
“Good point,” Grace nodded. “Should we tell Jasper when we get back today?”
“Let’s wait until we’re sure, so she doesn’t get her hopes up for
nothing,” Jason replied.
At this moment, Jason was even more worried that if this
person really was Lawrence, it might not be for a good
reason. Lawrence might hold a grudge against the Reed
family or, more specifically, against Jasper.
If that were the case, as a father, Jason would do anything to protect his daughter and wouldn’t let
Lawrence harm Jasper
in any way.

person she saw in court was not Lawrence.
“Isn’t it Lawrence?” Jasper’s face was full of disappointment.
“Well, it’s just that he bears some resemnce to Lawrence
in appearance, but we’ve investigated and it’s not him,” Jason
said, handing his daughter a document.
There is a photo of a handsome young man in the
information, who does bear some resemnce to Lawrence
when he was 10 years old. However, the information clearly
states that the person in the photo is not Lawrence.
So, she really made a mistake that day!
When Jasper told William about it, there was a hint of surprise in his eyes. “Wasn’t it Lawrence?”
“Well, Dad showed me the information about that person. He looks somewhat simr to Lawrence, but
it’s not him,” Jasper
“Yeah, quite disappointed,” Jasper admitted. “Although I didn’t have high hopes to begin with, when
Dad told me that the person wasn’t Lawrence, I still felt a sense of loss.”
“Perhaps finding him may not necessarily be a good thing,” William said in a low voice. “If he is really
still alive, maybe he
doesn’t want to appear in front of us after all these years?”
“But it’s also possible that there are other reasons, like
amnesia,” Jasper tried to find a reason. “Isn’t thatmon in
movies and TV shows?”
