    Karen paused, gesturing to the flight attendant who looked rather ufortable, “Mr. Turner, we’re

    “Sir, please return to your seat,” the flight attendant added, urging him along.

    Karen had just stowed her eye mask and travel pillow back into her carry–on when the ne touched


    down smoothly.


    She had managed to get a decent amount of sleep during the ten–hour flight and felt refreshed. Her


    mind was already wandering to the sumptuous meal she’d enjoy with Keh and the two munchkins.

    can drive you to them first”


    “No way! Flying’s too exhausting. Let’s head to my parents‘ tomorrow.”

    “Alright, I’m making my way out. I’ll see you after I grab my luggage. Catch you in a bit.”
