“Ms. Porter, thank you. I didn’t expect you to be so concerned about my daughter’s illness!” Gerard
said gratefully to Natasha.

revealed Nathan’s identity.

recover, but I can surely ease her pain.”
A smile appeared on Natasha’s face. If Jack could solve this matter, Gerard would definitely support

Gerard didn’t say much and led them to a room. When he opened the door, it was dark inside, and the
windows were blocked by thick curtains.
A woman in pajamas held her legs and curled up in bed. Her hair was messy, and she was gloomy and
depressed.
“Angelina, I brought you some new friends.” Gerard forced a smile and said tremblingly.
Angelina ignored his words. Nobody would believe this woman in bed would be the mayor’s daughter!
Jack had seen Angelina’s medical notes, so he immediately walked up to her and smiled. “Angelina, I
am your good friend. Do you remember me? When we were young, we rode bicycles together at the
alley.”

yourself.”
