The look in Rufus’s eyes told me that he knew something. Too scared and flustered to think straight, I
didn’t know when I gave myself away.
There were still ten days left before the spell wore off. I had been nning to get closer to Rufus within
this period so that I could have s*ex with him and bear his child.
