Jasper quickly called his uncle, Antoine, and reported the current situation to him. Upon hearing that
the residents of an apartmentplex were in danger, Antoine became serious. “Jasper, you have to
try your best to save Sirius and ensure the safety of everyone inside that apartmentplex.”
“Yes, Uncle Antoine, I understand. I’ll head over immediately Jasper epted the order. When Jasper
pushed the door open, Willow was doing the same, and they almost crashed into each other. Jasper
held her shoulder and pulled her into his room before pinning her to the wall. Meanwhile, Willow was
shocked as she gazed at him with wide eyes.
“Willy, something happened to my teammate, and I need to leave for one hour. During this time, I need
you to stay at home. Don’t go outside, no matter what you hear or see, understand?” Jasper looked at
her with a burning gaze.
Willow nodded obediently. “Okay, I understand.” But at the same time, she was worried. “Will you be in
danger?”

“Don’t worry about me.” Jasper’s gazended on her face. He knew Calvin captured Sirius to lure him
out from the Presgrave Residence. Therefore, he had no idea what Calvin might do next. However, he
was sure that whatever the other was going to do, it was targeted at the Presgraves.
“You have to be careful. I promise I won’t leave the vi, Willow promised while raising her hand as
though she was taking an oath. Jasper nodded and quickly pecked her forehead. “Wait for me to
return.”
Seeing Jasper about to leave, Willow felt her heart tightening up because all of his missions were
apanied by danger. “You muste home. I’ll be waiting for you,” Willow told him. With a heavy
nod, Jasper promised, “I promise I’lle home safe and sound.”
Though he said that, Willow was still unwilling to let him leave, so he opened his arms and embraced
her. “Don’t worry about me.”
With no choice, Willow could only release him. But before leaving, Jasper went to see Jared, who
promised not to let his sister out of his sight. At the same time, he went to notify the security team at
the vi and asked them to stand guard at their designated positions.
Once Jasper had everything arranged, he sped toward the city center. In the meantime, Calvin, who
was making his way to the Presgrave Residence, immediately noticed Jasper’s movements through
Sirius’ phone. He sneered. “Oh, Jasper. You fell for it.”
In the meantime, Jared came to Willow’s room and asked, “Willy, are you alright?” “I’m fine, Jared. I’m
just very worried about him.”
“You should trust his abilities. He’ll be fine.” Willow turned to look at Jared. “Jared, don’t worry about
me. I promise not to go anywhere, and I’ll stay inside the house. You should go and be with Ellen.”
“Okay, but remember not to go anywhere.” Once Jared exhorted her, he left to return to his family. With
the security guards standing by all the crucial areas around the vi, there would be some kind of
commotion if Calvin arrived. By then, he could alsoe forward and deal with that man.
Willow heard someone knocking on her door. When she turned around, she saw it was the servant who
had cared for her for many years, Sasha Pickett.
“Miss Presgrave, have some milk.” Sasha brought over a cup of milk. Since Willow was feeling thirsty
from being so worried, she smiled. “Thank you, Ms. Pickett.”
Sasha bent over to help Willow clean up her things, but tears suddenly began to fall from her eyes.
However, Willow was oblivious to that because she was drinking her milk, thinking about Jasper.
Suddenly, she felt dizzy and weak. When she realized what was happening, she looked at Sasha but
heard thetter say, “Miss Presgrave, I’m sorry, but I can’t let my two sons die. I would rather die for
them.”
Willow fell unconscious, but right before her consciousness faded, she heard herself call out Jasper’s
name.
Afterward, Sasha pushed arge trash can into the room. She knew there were no cameras inside
Willow’s room, so it was safe to ce Willow in the trash can inside the room. It was a new one, of
course, and she even ced a nket inside so that Willow wouldn’t feel too ufortable.
