    “Sure.” Ivor leaned toward Bonnie and lowered his head to let her see it better. Although it startled

    firmly that she could feel his heartbeat.


    “You can let go of me now.”


    “Oh, right,” Ivor responded but remained motionless.


    “I can’t breathe if you keep holding me like this,” Bonnie said, exasperated.


    Ivor could only let her go, but he did it longingly.
