    “Thank goodness she’s finally here. Your dad will live!” Ynda said as she approached


    the door.


    “Mom, slow down. Your legs aren’t what they used to be.” Gresham and his brothers


    darted after their mother.


    When the group reached the door, they saw no signs of the miracle doctor. Instead, they saw


    Bonnie. Gresham sneered, asking, “What do you think you’re doing here?”


    She was about to respond when Ynda interjected, “Why do you care why she’s here? Where’s


    the miracle doctor?”


    The older woman looked past Bonnie but saw no one there. Ynda asked hastily, “I thought you


    said the miracle doctor is here. Where is she?”


    “Hold on. I’ll ask someone.” Gresham pulled out his phone and called Jamari, the person


    overseeing the bidding affairs. Gresham said, “That can’t be. The miracle doctor texted me and said


    she’s here.”


    After some thought, he asked, “Do you think she went to the wrong house?”


    Jamari replied, “Hmm, I’ll hang up and call her.”


    “Sure.”


    When Jamari hung up, Bonnie said, “I’m here. Let me in.”
