    Avril shook Bonnie’s arm excitedly. “Mr. Jim! It’s Mr. Jim! Oh my god! I finally saw him in person! I’m


    so excited!”


    As she spoke, Avril exaggeratedly pinched her philtrum.


    Bonnie looked at Avril with some surprise. “You’re just a girl and not intobat. Why are you so


    excited to see Mr. Jim?”


    In response to Bonnie’s question, Avril looked at her with an incredulous expression.


    “Bonnie, are you okay? Do I have to be into kickboxing to get excited about meeting Mr. Jim? He’s


    the King of Combat! Most importantly, he’s one of our city’s most eligible bachelors. Not only is he


    powerful, but he’s also handsome and manly.”


    Bonnie detected a hint of something different in Avril’s tone and looked at her with a raised


    eyebrow. “Do you have a crush on him?”


    Avril’s face instantly turned red. “What nonsense are you talking about? Gross, I just admire him.


    That’s all.”


    “Oh? Since it’s just pure admiration, why are you blushing?” Bonnie teased.


    “I’m not blushing!”


    “In that case, I was thinking of introducing you two, but if you don’t like him, then I won’t do it,”


    Bonnie joked.


    Avril’s eyes widened, staring at Bonnie. “Are you…Are you telling me you know Mr. Jim?”


    Bonnie nodded with a smile. “Yes.”


    “You… Are you kidding me? How could you possibly know Mr. Jim?” Avril couldn’t


    believe it.


    “If you don’t believe me, I’ll bring him along, and we can grab a meal together after the


    auction ends.”


    Avril continued to stare at Bonnie, unable to detect any trace of falsehood in her eyes.

    “If you know him, why didn’t Mr. Jime over to greet you? And you didn’t greet him either. You


    two acted like strangers,” Avril questioned..


    “If we did that, it would be too pretentious. I don’t like being so shy,” Bonnie exined.
