Chapter 16 Eddie and ire''s wedding
Eddie is Ari''s cousin, and fell in love with ire, who is Mike''s niece. The wedding is set to St Mary''s
Parish in Gilroy. ire asked Ley toplete the bridal entourage since her friends can''t travel from
Marnd to Gilroy. She needs 2 single females to be her entourage. Ley chooses Hannah since she
lives in San Jose, 30 mins to Gilroy and herself as part of the entourage. Ley decided to extend her
invite to her friends so after the wedding, they will visit the beautiful Napa Valley, the wine country. She
doesn''t have an idea that Eddie is Ari''s cousin. All are excited, they booked at the Hampton Inn and
Suites in Gilroy with nice views, great rooms and service. No one even Ley took the paper invitation.
She just wrote down Hannah''s and her name when ire asked for it. At that time, Hannah was in
Vancouver BC visiting her sister and meeting her publisher, she arrived the day of the wedding. She
was absent from the rehearsal thus she missed seeing Ari on the entourage where Ley and her friends
were shocked to see him. Ari is partnered with Ley. He begged her not to tell Hannah first and change
partners with his cousin Raul to be partnered with Hannah. Ley and the girls are all nervous about the
complicated situation. They did not see thising. After two long years, Ari and Hannah will cross
paths again. Nobody nned this…it is happening again. Hannah arrives without any clue. She worries
about her dress because she doesn''t have the chance to check the fitting before the wedding. She was
excited because after the wedding, they will be touring Napa Valley, one of her favorite travel
destinations. And she will be travelling with her friends who love and care for her, for better or for
worse, they are always with her, no matter what. It''s unconditional love. The wedding was at 3pm.
Hannah was at the hotel fitting the dress. Thank God, it fits well even the shoes. No one from the
group will tell Hannah about Ari being her partner in the entourage. Happy exchanges and excitement
to visit Napa Valley after the wedding was transfired to avoid other discussion. They had early lunch at
11 noon, the makeup people will be arriving at 12 noon for Hannah and Ley. At exactly 3:00 pm, all the
entourage and guests are all in the church waiting to start the march to the altar of the church. Ley
and the group are all anxious.
First to march to the altar are the flower girls with tiny flower baskets scattering the petals down the
aisle followed by the ring bearers.
Next was Ley, the matron of honor then Hannah, the bridesmaid followed by the sponsors.
At the altar with the groom Eddie, best man Raul and the groomsman Ari. Hannah was so shocked to
see Ari waiting at the altar beside the groom and the best man. Her face bes red and her hands
keep on shaking. She tried to hold her hand to prevent shaking more. She looks for Ley and her face
is so white and like begging her not to get angry at her. Ari is staring affectionately at Hannah''s eyes,
begging for mercy. Hannah reaches the seat beside Ley. She apologizes to Hannah, honestly she
didn''t know that Eddie was Ari''s cousin and he was part of the entourage. Her fault was …she missed
getting the invitation until the same day of the wedding. Please forgive me Hannah, I did not n this
believe me. Hannah just nodded and did not say anything. It''s okay Ley, this is only good for 24 hours
anyway. Her face was calm and collected. Ignoring Ari. Ari''s staring was noticed by the guests and
families of both parties. After one hour and a half. The ceremony was done. Picture taking at the altar,
church garden and side entrance of the church. Guests and families proceed to the reception party at
the Davis Ranch. It is a simple and family affair wedding but it meant a lot for Ari. Seeing Hannah
