Chapter 12 Trip to San Francisco California
After dinner, Michael has to leave to prepare for the flight, and Liam, senior steward of the airlines has
to report too.
Michael is stunned to see his uncle''s public disy of affection to Hannah. She must be very special.
He witnessed how her Uncle Ari dated from the past. It''s always been one nightstand. Never did he
witness such public affection from the most eligible bachelor in town. Although he heard many stories
about Hannah, searching for her in five years, he never thought that his uncle is capable of loving and
pursuing a woman for years. Hannah is lovely, sophisticated, confident, aplished, and smart ……
he guesses that she is the same age as his uncle Ari. Ahhhh Love is a mystery.
Ari dated a younger woman. But it seems that he is not interested after he slept with any one of them.
One time, he dated a friend of Michael, a beautiful young and vivacious steward named Cherry. One
day, Cherry called Michael and asked him…who is Hannah Michael? How did you know her name?
Michael ask. Ari is calling her name while on top of me. Michael was stunned. Uncle Ari told me that
Hannah is the greatest love of his life….. he is still searching for her? He lost her many years ago.
I will pretend to be Hannah as long as you marry me, Ari, Cherry said. I can even change my name to
Hannah if you want. That is how I love you dearly. Ari bes cold and his eyes with a trace of
sadness and disappointment. Don''t ever disrespect Hannah''s name. No one will rece her in my
heart. Cherry tried to pacify him, but Ari just turns his back and told Cherry not to bother him anymore.

Ari''s love for Hannah is deep to his core. Michael sometimes thinks that his Uncle Ari will lose his mind
if he cant find Hannah. Even Michael''s Dad, who is Ari''s father, felt bad about not finding Hannah. He
even tried to help to find her but he doesn''t know where to start.
Ari''s cousin Ava lives 3 blocks away from Hannah''s ce, but she didn''t know that her yoga and dance
student is Hannah whom Ari is searching for years. She just disappeared. Another cousin Raul and
wife Leslie lives down the road from Hannah''s ce but they didn''t know where Hannah''s
now….usually she walks after 5 pm. They didn''t know if she moved and where? Both of them are afraid
that Ari will lose his mind if he cannot find Hannah, so they suggested that Ari relocate to Tac. He
might be able to forget her since there''s a lot of beauties in that ce.
Ari bes so restless after the moved. He yed around. Alcohol was his best friend. His dreams of
Hannah''s continues.

Ari and Hannah just sit there, holding hands and Ari caressing Hannah''s hair and kissing her cheeks
and forehead, circling his big hands on Hannah''s back and squeezing her hand, whispering I love you,
I adore you, I would like to wake up every morning beside you. Please take care of yourself for me……I
am missing you already. Always remember that I love you and please have faith in us. I had a colored
past and I regret it, please promise to stand by me. I was careless. I was so frustrated in not finding
you, but I know that is not an excuse. Please believe in me that I will always carry you in my heart. We
can start our lives together. I promise not to let you down.
Those are the words and promises Ari imnted on Hannah''s heart. Do I believe him? I am at a
crossroads. Only Hannah knew what''s on her mind. She remembers her statement to her friends…." I
am ready to take the challenge, ready to take the plunge, the risk I have to take and the pain that I
have to endure. I will treasure how he treated me with respect, love, and affection. At least, I
experience how to be loved by Ari. I will not expect more, I will not ask for more. Simple life and simple
wants and needs are enough as long as we are together. If it ends and bes memory….. It meant
to be that way.
